Welcome to my little piece of the internet!

I’m Madelyn, but my mom usually only calls me that when I’m in trouble. Almost everyone calls me Maddy, but I’m fine with whichever you like best. I’m 23 years old and from Ohio. I have two younger sisters and an older brother, I guess you could say that I’m the middle child, but some people beg to differ.

My parents did a really great job of naming us. My full name is Madelyn Acadia, hence the name of the blog. All of our middle names were chosen from locations that are relevant to my parents. My middle name is named after the Acadia National Park in Maine.

I don’t have it all figured out yet, but I’m excited either way.

I’ve been a dancer my entire life, so after graduating high school I decided college wasn’t for me (yet). I went on to pursue my career with my first love, dance. I danced on a cruise ship for 7 months and loved every second. After traveling for some time I decided it was time to further my education.

Now, I’m going to school and studying communications. I like to talk to people so I figured that fits. I’m not quite sure what I’m going to do with this degree yet, but like I said, I haven’t figured it all out yet.

When I’m not studying or dancing, I’m teaching dance and yoga, taking photos, watching endless makeup tutorials on youtube, listening to music, and I absolutely loveeee to travel. I’ve been to a few places around the world, some of my favorites are Bali and Croatia.

This blog is about some of my adventures, thoughts, photographs/videos I take, and possibly about my obsession with the Kardashians (they’re my drug of choice). If you’re not a fan of them, I kind of don’t believe you.
